Overview
Argentière is a picturesque, authentic French alpine village located in the Chamonix Valley, just 8km from Chamonix town, rather than in Switzerland. Famous for the Les Grands Montets ski area (up to 3,295m), it is a top destination for expert, off-piste skiing in winter and hiking/climbing near the Argentière glacier in summer.
