This is the bottom/starting point of the Eiger Express gondola Both the Wengernalp Railway and the Eiger Express are routes to reach the Jungfraujoch–Top of Europe, but they serve different paths and connect to the final Jungfrau Railway at different points. Wengernalp Railway (Traditional Route): Takes you from Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg, where you transfer to the final cogwheel train up to Jungfraujoch. Eiger Express (Fast Route): A tricable gondola that runs from Grindelwald Terminal directly to the Eigergletscher station in just 15 minutes, where you then transfer to the final cogwheel train up to Jungfraujoch. Both options are often combined for a round trip—ascending via the Eiger Express and descending via the Wengernalp Railway (or vice-versa).
