This Waypoint is the train station, not the "Grindelwald Terminal". This train station is what you would take to get to or from the village of Grindelwald. The Grindelwald Terminal is where you board the Eiger Express gondola to the Eiger Glacier, or you board the Wengernalp Railway. Both go to the Jungfraujoch "Top of Europe". Grindelwald, Switzerland is a premier, scenic mountain village in Switzerland’s Jungfrau region, renowned for its dramatic Eiger north face setting and year-round outdoor activities. A hub for skiing, hiking, and thrill-seeking, it offers popular attractions like the First Cliff Walk, Mannlichen viewpoint, the glacier canyon, zip lines, mountain carts, and a hike to Bachalpsee lake. You can do a very long one-way day hike between Grindelwald and Meiringen.
