Great stop after a day hiking the Abel Tasman park or mountain biking in Kaiteriteri. This dairy at the north end of Motueka makes good real fruit icecreams, and has a huge variety of fruits you can order. If Thomas Brothers is closed or looks too busy, go here. (You pass both on your way to/from Abel Tasman park.)
