The most physical part of the day is the walk up to the Centre of New Zealand, but that is not very difficult. Local children will walk to the top of the Centre of New Zealand, but you'll have to judge whether your children will enjoy it. Visit the Suter Cafe/Museum before or after the walk to the Centre of New Zealand.
