Hike Rifugio Coll Gallina to Rifugio Croda da Lago Vertical: 686 m up / 701 m down Distance: 10.8 km Time: 5 to 6 hrs From the Cortina Dolomit website: Depart from the Col Gallina Refuge, taking trail no. 419 towards the Averau Refuge, passing the enchanting Lìmides alpine lake. Once you reach the Averau Refuge, continue along trail no. 452 to the Giau Pass. Once at the pass, cross the road and take trail no. 436 to Forcella Ambrizzola. From there, take trail no. 434 to the Croda da Lago Refuge, where you can spend the night. Alternatively, you can continue along dirt road no. 432 to Malga Federa and spend the night there, having completed a total of 110 km of hiking.
