This trail is part of the new Via Alpina route that has been adjusted in April 2024 and now consists of 116 segments. Segment 68 of the Via Alpina climbs from Grindelwald beneath the Eiger to Kleine Scheidegg, then descends past Wengernalp to Lauterbrunnen, with an option to use the cog railway. The AllTrails version does not go to Jungfraujoch. You could start the hike by taking the gondola or train there, and then continue on down. (Snow could be an issue, so you might need to take the Jungfraujoch cog railway back down to Kleine Scheidegg before you continue heading southwest toward Lauterbrunnen. Length: 19.3 km, Elevation gain: 1,129 m, Time: 8 to 9 hours
