This cafe has changed hands a couple times in the past 15 years, but has always had good food. It has a lovely garden when sitting outside, and it has a very interesting cactus garden. Be aware that the hours are seasonal and changeable. It is not far from the Great Taste cycle trail. Friday they have an "open mic night", and other events are hosted occasionally. The cafe is located at the Riverside Community which is a commune founded by Christian pacifists in 1941.
