Patons Rock is a huge beach with a long, shallow drop-off. Safe beach to take children. It is not one of the primary destinations for tourists, so even during the peak summer holidays it is not crowded. At less than half tide you can easily drive on the beach with a normal 4-wheel drive car. A public toilet is at the east end of the beach.
