A walk along a historic bush tramway to historic mining sites, milling sites, and Mangatini Falls. The walk is a round trip of 11 km (7 miles), returning back the way you came. You can also mountain bike it. This used to be a longer track you could do from south end of the track near Ngakawau, but a slip has closed the south end for a few years now. But many people break the rules and do the walk from the Ngakawau end. To get to the start use the link for "Parking" included in this activity's list of links, or use the DOC website directions: 1) Starting at Seddonville, West Coast, head southeast on Mokihinui Road. It’s around 10 km to the track start. 2) Turn right onto Broome Street after around 200 metres. 3) Turn left onto Gladstone St after around 350 metres. 4) Continue straight at the crossroads onto Charming Creek Road. This road is a gravel road. 5) At the end of the road is the start of the track. Charming Creek Road is around 8.5 km long.
