Walk through native bush to the cascading Wainui Falls, the largest and most accessible falls in Golden Bay. About 30 to 45 minutes one-way, and goes over a large swing bridge. If you are adventurous, swim across the river/pool at the base of the falls and find the track that goes up almost vertically to the top of the falls. There should be a couple of large ropes you can use to help you get up and down the track. Not for the faint of heart. Intermittent cafe at carpark, or go to Toto's.
