A 690 hectare (1,705 acre) fenced sanctuary where native kiwi, tuatara, and other native animals are free from predators. Please check the prices, which are different for local residents and visitors. There are other hikes in the area that are just as beautiful and are free. So, the only real reason to pay to visit this santuary is if you think you might see kiwi (on a night guided hike) or tuatara.
