Have breakfast or lunch at Queenies Cafe. (Previously Suter Cafe.) Lots of cabinet food and nice sweet treats. Lovely view of the Queens Garden. Visit the free Suter Art Gallery while here. Walk through the Queens Garden next door. If you are more motivated, walk up to the Centre of New Zealand, or just amble along the Maitai River. (Downstream to the port, upstream through the forrest.)
